PPSWG is comprised of producers of pharmaceutical products, including branded and generic prescription and over-the-counter pharmaceutical products. The PPSWG member list can be found here.
PPSWG’s mission is to provide infrastructure, guidance, and subject matter expertise to support member compliance and improve awareness of existing pharmaceutical disposal options.
The MyOldMeds website is provided by PPSWG as an easy way for patients to find a kiosk site near them to dispose of unwanted, unused, or expired medicines from households.
Additionally, the MyOldMeds.com website highlights the importance of patients following the instructions provided with medicine, including labeling information and Medication Guides, as well as how to securely store and dispose of unwanted, unused, or expired medicines.
PPSWG provides information on kiosks in all 50 states for the proper disposal of unwanted, unused or expired medications. Kiosks are conveniently located at your local pharmacies and law enforcement facilities for ease of use.
